Working Principle:
Solenoid controller [1]connects the pressure reducing pilot valve [3] to the valve control chamber[4]. Pressure reducing pilot valve slowly closes when the pressure [P2] behind the valve rises beyond the set value of the pilot valve, and fully opens when the pressure behind the valve falls below the set value of the pilot valve. When the external pressure is reduced, solenoid controller [1] switches to guide the pipe-
line pressure into the control chamber, and the increase of the control chamber pressure causes the main valve to close. Solenoid controller [1] enables manual closing of the valve.
